The hurricane system by Lanai Doors™ includes one-inch thick Hurricane-rated glass. Lanai's Hurricane-rated glass is an insulated dual-glaze unit. The interior's impact glass is made with extra-tough DuPont™ SentryGlas® structural interlayer (.060 for small missile impact and .090 for large missile impact) between two 3/16" fully-tempered HS glass sheets.

The external sheet of glass is fully-tempered (3/16" or 1/4" thick) glass, and custom options include clear, LowE, turtle or other tinted glass. Argon gas and internal grids are also available.
